Dianova Spain also develops empowerment programmes for vulnerable and socially isolated women.

3.5 Strengthen the prevention and treatment of substance abuse, including narcotic drug abuse and harmful use of alcohol.

3.4 By 2030, reduce by one third premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment and promote mental health and well-being.

Related Activities

Dianova Spain’s commitment to the prevention and treatment of addictions benefited 385 people (direct beneficiaries) in 2018, directly contributing to SDG 3 (Good health and well-being) target 5 in particular. In addition, work with minors with behavioural problems associated with substance use has contributed to SDG 3, target 4 (promotion of mental health).

4.5 By 2030, eliminate gender disparities in education and ensure equal access to all levels of education and vocational training for the vulnerable, including persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples and children in vulnerable situations

8.6 By 2020, substantially reduce the proportion of youth not in employment, education or training

8.8 Protect labour rights and promote safe and secure working environments for all workers, including migrant workers, in particular women migrants, and those in precarious employment

Related Activities

The empowerment and training programme for women in vulnerable situations (30 direct beneficiaries), vocational renewal programme for adults (37 beneficiaries), mentoring initiatives for migrants (44) and training workshops (100) have contributed to SDG 4 (Quality education) target 5, as well as SDG 8 (Decent work and economic growth) targets 6 and 8, and, in general terms, to SDG 5 (Gender equality). Finally, Dianova Spain has contributed to SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) target 17 in particular, through the implementation of collaborative projects with other organizations.
