Dianova International
The Organisation Internationale Dianova or Dianova International is an NGO committed to social progress that supports the development of programmes and projects aimed at improving people’s lives on 4 continents. It also defends people’s interests in the fields of health, equality and social inclusion.
Dianova International is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, where it carries out advocacy activities in health, human rights and sustainable development forums, participating in debates on drug policy and gender equality. The activities implemented by Dianova International and its members contribute to the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and targets.
Lines of Work
- Support to its members: it provides support and guidance to its members in the development and management of their activities;
- International relations and advocacy: it reinforces the voices of civil society within international organizations and forums, identifies social problems, and addresses the causes of social vulnerability;
- Resource mobilization for a social objective: it promotes and nurtures cooperation between public and private sectors.

Making the voice of civil society heard in international organizations and fora
Together with other, like-minded NGOs we are dedicated to defending people’s right to health, to equality and inclusion, especially for the most vulnerable.
After over a decade long commitment, we now actively participate in international bodies and forums among which: the UNESCO NGO Liaison Committee, the NGO Committee on the Status of Women, New York (NGO CSW/NY), the NY NGO Committee on Drugs (NYNGOC), the Vienna NGO Committee on Drugs (VNGOC), the NGO Committee on Mental Health (NGO CMH), the Conference of NGOs in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations (CoNGO), the World and European Federations of Therapeutic Communities (WFTC and EFTC), the Civil Society Forum on Drugs, the Geneva Global Health Hub (G2H2), the NGO Major Group, the Organisation of American States (OAS), the United Nations (UN) and the Ibero-American Network of NGOs working on drug dependence (RIOD).
