The NGO Major Group is one of the major groups and other stakeholders (MGoS) that have been actively working for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda since its adoption. Among other tasks, the NGO MG endeavours to facilitate and improve NGO participation in the processes directly and indirectly related to the United Nations High Level Political Forum (HLPF), an event that helps monitor the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on a yearly basis.
