From September 26 to 28, about sixty guests and delegates from the Dianova network member organizations met in Rome for the network's annual gathering and assembly meeting. The first two days were devoted to the ninth edition of Dianova's 'Management & Development' training session, while Dianova International's formal assembly meeting took place on Saturday morning.
9th 'Management & Development' Seminar: the DNA of Innovation
Dianova's yearly training session relied on the theme of innovation and was aiming to demystify and better understand the innovation process while developing a 'roadmap' to bring innovation in our daily lives and eventually to integrate innovation for the benefit of society as a whole. Several keynote experts presented the various sources of innovation before giving way to workshops. Among the latter, Mr Josep María Miró Pascual, Director of Social Innovation Projects, at Barcelona City Council (Spain), and our friends Mr. Rafael Goberna, expert in business management and systemic consulting, and Mr. Alberto Leon, psychologist, both of them members of Dianova International's Assembly Council.
General Assembly
Saturday morning was devoted to the General Assembly which comprised the approval of the annual activties report, financial statements and budget, as well as the appointement of the organization's 2013 auditor. Later on, various members of the Dianova network presented their activities and best practices.
