Women & Drugs at the CND 2020

Barriers in access to treatment and recovery: issues faced by women living with substance use disorders – United Nations – VIC Conference Room MOE100, 9:10 – 10:00 a.m. – Women living with and affected by addiction are a particularly vulnerable group; they are more likely to be subjected to violence and very few treatment facilities can address their specific needs. This event provides a unique platform to highlight what these needs are while revisiting the demands on the Conventions on ending discrimination against women.
