Addressing the Ongoing Violence against Health Care in Conflict and the COVID-19 Pandemic – –
Geneva Global Week – From 2016 to 2020, there have been more that 4,000 incidents of violence against health facilities and personnel and additional violence was inflicted in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. To date, however, there has been little progress in reducing the levels of violence. The Global Health Centre, Safeguarding Health in Conflict Coalition and the Swiss Confederation are hosting an in-depth discussion on the status of violence against health care in conflict, particularly in the context of the pandemic.
