“Challenging Inequalities”
From 16/12/2019 to 17/12/201911th International Forum of NGOs in official partnership with Unesco – Organized by the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee in cooperation with the UNESCO Secretariat, the Forum will take place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France, on 16 and 17 December 2019, on the theme “Challenging Inequalities”, with a focus on areas such as youth, income, technology, gender and education.

CND Reconvened 62nd Session

All organisations in consultative status with ECOSOC are invited to send observers. 42nd Expert Committee on Drug Dependence
From 21/10/2019 to 25/10/2019The 42nd Expert Committee on Drug Dependence (ECDD) will meet in Geneva, Switzerland. The World Health Organization ECDD is mandated by the International Drug Control Conventions to assess the health risks and potential therapeutic use of psychoactive substances. Recommendations are then issued to the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) on whether a substance should be placed under international control or not.
