As presented in the latest INCB Annual Report for 2013, abuse of new psychoactive substances (NPS) is spreading, with new substances emerging almost daily. Seventy countries reported the appearance of NPS while others reported the appearance of numerous new non-scheduled precursor chemicals for the illicit manufacture of controlled drugs.

Dianova publishes this week some excerpts from The International Narcotics Control Board's Annual Report. The INCB is an independant control organ for the implementation and monitoring of the United Nations drug conventions. The INCB plays a critical role in monitoring enforcement of restrictions on psychtropic drugs, in particular through its annual report.

Dianova Joins CoNGO´s Board of Directors

Dianova Joins CoNGO´s Board of Directors

Dianova International has been elected member of the Board of Directors of the Conference of NGOs in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations (CoNGO) for the upcoming three years. Together with Dianova, 19 other NGOs were elected to sit on the board. On behalf of the organization, Dianova representative Ms Elena Goti agreed to the appointment at CoNGO's General Assembly held in New York on 2 April – 4 April, 2014.
