The Camp Deer Run web site was given a complete make-over not only to make it attractive, interesting and easy to navigate, but also to provide helpful information that will be useful for Youth Service Providers, Schools, Retreat Planners. A few of the key features of the new site include: voluminous, credible research on subjects related to youth development; an archive section of the Camp’s newsletters; a special programs section describing specially targeted Deer Run programs that address a wide variety of client needs in a number of ways.
Camp Deer Run is a youth program of Dianova, developed in the USA.

dianova best practices presented during ecosoc ngo forum at united nations headquarters
A representative of Dianova International, presented Dianova Spain's best practices for adolescents with substance abuse and/or behavioral problems, a program which had already been honored by the Spanish Red Cross. The presentation provided a brief description of the features and accomplishments of the Spanish program and, citing objectives of the UN’s Johannesburg Declaration on Sustainable Development, pointed out that these objectives are just as applicable to the needs of disadvantaged populations of developed countries as they are to the needs of populations of developing countries.

st-andré housing project in canada
Montreal, April 10 - The Federal Government has granted Dianova Canada an important subvention for the purpose of buying and renovating a house, a modest building located in downtown Montreal on St-André Street, which will open its doors to its first tenants next fall. Twenty single-room living units that will accommodate the homeless and those at-risk of homelessness are planned. In addition, support and follow-up services will be provided to assist tenants in stabilizing their lives and in finding permanent housing solutions.

Dianova Spain honored by Spanish Red Cross for good practices in the treatment and social re-integration of adolescent drug abusers
Dianova’s program designed for adolescent substance abusers with associated, negative social adjustment issues has been recognized by the Spanish Red Cross as providing an ideal model of "Good Practices" in the field of substance-abuse treatment, prevention and social re-integration.
The program is residentially-based and encompasses both educational and therapeutic interventions. Offered by the Dianova centers of Zandueta (Navarra), La Quintanilla (Murcia), Santa Elena (Córdoba) and Santa Lucía (Madrid), the program is designed for adolescents of ages 13 to 18 with psycho-social and addiction problems.

On July 20th, a Triathlon was held in Barcelona (Spain) which permitted raise funds for the construction of a large gymnasium in Nicaragua

As a student at Mc Gill University in Montreal, Jenyfer is especially interested in the geopolitics of developing countries and other critical global issues.
