a projection into the future: the 2016 strategic vision
One of 2008’s most daunting tasks was to design a strategic vision for the next eight years. Even within those times of uncertainty, which have seen countries reputed to be the most conservative nationalize their banks, it remains essential to provide a global framework for Dianova’s development as “an anchor which prevents the ship from drifting in the storm” as newly elected Dianova President, Luca Franceschi, put it.
In addition, he stated that it was critical to share this vision with as many as possible, saying that, “almost 50 persons have directly participated in its development. That is nearly 10% of the entire staff, and they then had to pass on the debates and the reflections to every single coworker.”
The 2016 strategic vision covers sustainable development, self-reliance, social ethics and cultural diversity; it presents an acknowledged, interdependent NGO with a deeply innovative identity; it discusses the alliances and partnerships which will root every member organization in their communities, and, finally, it represents Dianova’s determination to provide excellent quality services and to reach full sustainability, not so much for Dianova itself as for its commitment.
The new strategic vision takes into account the essential aspects of Dianova’s organizational development, maintaining its values, commitment and sustainability. It translates for tomorrow today’s actions, while preserving this emotional bond which unites every single associate, those who are longstanding and those who have just arrived - all those who participate in its development, all those who trust.
