The network is comprised of many different associations and foundations that are all managed autonomously, in addition to Dianova International, of which they are all part.

Each organisation develops its own social programs, according to the demands and needs of its environment and within the framework of the Dianova Mission.

Similarly, the social programs are carried out with the checks and balances established by the competent authorities of each country and utilize the officially approved infrastructures for the activities that they carry out, applying their own financial resources, which are freely administered.

In 2006, the entirety of the network, member organizations and Dianova International has had a global budgetary volume of 16.2 million euros.

As regards the application of the resources managed, 81% of these resources relate to coverage of the direct costs of the programs and social benefits for users, whereas 5% relate to amortizations, taxes and provisions, with the final 14% being structure costs.

The Dianova Network

The Network
Dianova is an international NGO with consultative status to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC), operating in 12 countries of the Americas and Europe. Dianova develops innovative programs and projects in the fields of education, youth, addiction prevention and treatment, as well as in the area of social and community development.

jenyfer As a student at Mc Gill University in Montreal, Jenyfer is especially interested in the geopolitics of developing countries and other critical global issues. She is now in Nicaragua for a 3 months stay where she will be helping disadvantaged children at Las Marias educational center, run by Dianova.

Dianova International Granted Consultative Status to the ECOSOC
During its Substantive Session of July 2007, the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) voted to grant Dianova International "Special Consultative Status".
